There are a number  of options for conference attendees to chose from when commuting to Shepparton.

Airport Direct:

Balfours Airport Direct operates from Mooroopna and Shepparton, offering a dedicated Airport Shuttle Service directly to and from Melbourne (Tullamarine) Airport twice a day, seven days a week.

For your convenience, Airport Direct connects with V-Line services at both Shepparton and Seymour.

All bookings should be pre-booked in order to guarantee a seat. Online bookings need to be made a minimum of 4 hours prior to departure time.

Conference attendees can catch a train or coach using V/Line services to and from Shepparton.

There are now 29 new weekly coach services running between Seymour and Shepparton from Sunday 20 May.

Five new services will run each weekday, three on Saturdays and one on Sundays, all connecting with train services between Seymour and Melbourne.


Conference attendees can catch a SkyBus into Southern Cross Station, then board a train to Shepparton.

Airport V/Line Transfer Bus (Route 901 SmartBus)

AWiA Conference attendees cam also catch a bus from the Terminal 4 bus station to Broadmeadows station then board the Shepparton Train.

Route 901 (SmartBus) provides a frequent connection between Broadmeadows Station and Melbourne Airport. The trip takes about 20 minutes, but leave more time during peak times.

Route 901 runs between Melbourne Airport and Frankston via Broadmeadows, Roxburgh Park, Epping and Greensborough seven days per week.

Buses run every 15 minutes until 9pm weekdays and every 30 minutes on weekends and evenings until midnight (9pm on Sundays).

At Melbourne Airport, all Route 901 services depart from the bus terminal outside Terminal 4.

You will need to show your pre-purchased V/Line ticket to board the bus. Alternatively you may also use a Myki card.

Melbourne (Tullamarine) Airport has six car rental companies located on the ground floor of the At Terminal T1 T2 T3 Car Park. Search and compare the best deals to suit your travel needs.

Should you wish to travel to and from the 2018 AWiA Conference via Car Hire, we recommend you book a vehicle prior to your flights as Melbourne’s Tullamarine Airport is an very busy airport.
