Women in Forest Industries Forum
AFPA is pleased to invite you to a Women in Forest Industries Forum. The event will be held on the 23 March 2020 at Hotel Realm, Canberra. This will build on the initial Women in Forestry Industries Workshop which was held at Old Parliament House, Canberra on International Women’s Day on the 8th March 2019.
The forum will run from 9am-1pm and will include an update on actions and activities promoting women and diversity more broadly, at both an AFPA and company level, since the first event held in 2019.
There will be a presentation by a communications expert, presentations by each sector of industries on work they are currently undertaking in this space followed by a question and answer session.
An update on the women in forestry network will be given with additional speakers to be confirmed closer to the event. There will also be a networking and lunch event. There will also be a networking and lunch event. Following lunch we encourage attendees to attend the Chamber their organisation sits within to see the work AFPA undertakes on their behalf.
