Broadband for the Bush Forum
June 21, 2017 - June 23, 2017
Remote, Connected and Savvy!
In 2017, the Broadband for the Bush Alliance is hosting the 6th forum, building the network of people who are passionate about enabling remote and rural Australians to enjoy connected contemporary lifestyles and enterprises.
This year’s theme “Remote, Connected and Savvy!”, reflects the growing wisdom and experience in the network, and signals that it is time to use the data and stories about current issues and successes to set future agendas with targeted audiences who need to listen.
Be prepared to participate in this forum by sharing your story, setting discussion points and resolving issues, while keeping an eye on potential future directions. This forum is a robust conversation within the network to strengthen the network and support its members.
The program is being detailed every day as speakers are finalised. We are excited about our keynotes.
- Professor Hugh Bradlow, FTSE, Chief Scientist Telstra (Pictured)
- Tim Kelsey is Chief Executive, The Australian Digital Health Agency
- Mark Hervey-Sutton, CEO, Manager, Rural Affairs, National Farmers Federation
Indigenous voices about local experience have a space to share, listen and set agendas for local people. This facilitated day recognises Indigenous strengths, knowledge and experience and provides opportunities for talk, setting agendas and questions.
Our program is ready and we have great people willing to share their stories with you. We are beginning to issue invitations now.
Contact forum organisers if you would like to be considered for an invitation.
