If you had the opportunity to address the world’s global leaders at the 21st United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP21) in Paris, what would you say? The conference is crucial because the expected outcome is a new international agreement on climate change, applicable to all, to keep global warming below 2°C.
AWiA will be in Paris during the COP21 Climate Talks and will be attending various events including the Women’s Earth and Climate Action Network (WECAN International) Women Leading Solutions on the Frontlines of Climate Change gathering of worldwide women leaders.
Even if you’re miles away from Paris, you can contribute and participate in the discussions virtually by joining us online. We will be tweeting from the @AustWomenInAg Twitter account using the #AWiA2Paris hashtag as well as providing daily blog entries which we will also share links to on our Facebook Page.
