Refund Policy

Requests for a refund from cancellation of registration for a conference and/or event must be received in writing to Australian Women in Agriculture Ltd (AWiA Ltd) Administration prior to the closing date for registration ticket sales. These requests will receive a refund less a handling fee of $22.00 (including GST).

No refunds will be provided after the closing date for the Conference or any Australian Women in Agriculture Ltd events.

A ticket purchaser may wish to send an alternative delegate.  Details of the alternative delegate must be provided in writing using the Alternative Delegate Form which is available on request.

This notification must be received at least 7 days prior to the Conference or event.

The conference or event ticket will then be allocated accordingly.

Please note no refunds or discounts will be made if an inclusive function or event within the registration fee is not taken up or is subsequently cancelled.

The refund will be returned via direct deposit to the nominated bank account of the delegate cancelling their event or conference registration

Where there is extenuating circumstances a refund outside of these terms may be considered by, and at the discretion of the Organising Committee.

Speaker cancellations do not affect the cancellation policy.


Payment is required at the time of booking your conference or event registration. No admittance will be granted where payment has not been received in full.

All payments must be made in Australian Dollars.

Credit Card Transactions will incur a credit/debit card processing fee of 1.7%. The credit/debit card processing fee is calculated as a percentage rate of the ticket price only.

Please note that when you pay by credit card, AWiA Ltd will appear on your statement.

Your registration and payment will be acknowledged via email with confirmation of your requirements according to your registration form. Your registration will not be processed or confirmed if payment does not accompany your form.

All communication with registered delegates will be by email.

All registrations will be sent a confirmation letter and tax invoice within seven working days of submitting a registration form.

If you do not receive the email, please check your spam folder prior to contacting Australian Women in Agriculture as it might have been viewed spam mail by your spam filter.

If your email address has changed since completing the registration or membership form, be sure to advise your new email address to Australian Women in Agriculture Ltd at

When purchasing from Australian Women in Agriculture Ltd, card details are transmitted through a secure server using Westpac eWay Shopping Cart. This is a secure Online Payment Gateway.

Card data is not hosted or retained by Australian Women in Agriculture Ltd during or after processing.

When you purchase an AWiA Ltd membership we collect personal information from you so we can identify you and communicate with you, as part of our services to members.

When you purchase conference and/or event registration the personal information we collect from you so that we can correctly identify and communicate with you and meet your needs when attending our event (e.g. food allergies).

We take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to protect your personal information making sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.

AWiA Ltd reserves the right to modify this and other policies at any time. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website.
