Australian Women in Agriculture is please to announce a number of conference scholarships for women to attend our 2018 conference.
Australian Women in Agriculture will be providing seven student scholarships and AgriFutures Australia (formerly known as (formally Rural Industries Research & Development Corporation – RIRDC) are kindly sponsoring four (4) scholarships. Rural Bank is also generously sponsoring two (2) Birchip Cropping Group members to attend the 2018 AWiA Conference.
Rural Bank Birchip Cropping Group 2018 AWiA Conference Scholarships
To apply for the 2018 Birchip Cropping Group Conference Scholarships go to the BCG webpage. To register your interest, tell BCG in 250 words or less why you’d like to attend and send your response to email@example.com by next Friday the 13th of July. Winning applicants will be selected by a Rural Bank representative and notified on Wednesday the 18th of July. Successful applicants will have their conference ticket, accommodation and travel sponsored by Rural Bank and will be accompanied by a BCG staff member.
AgriFutures Australia 2018 Conference Scholarships
Applicants for the AgriFutures Australia Scholarships must be an AWiA or AgriFutures Australia program Alumni member. Scholarship includes Conference Registration and Tour Attendance. Selected applicants are responsible for organising their own accommodation and travel arrangements to Shepparton at their own expense. AWiA Student 2018 Conference Scholarships
AWiA is was committed to supporting ag. students and young people to gain personal and professional development alongside leaders in the industry.
Scholarships are an opportunity for students and young people in agriculture to develop their careers and meet leaders in the industry, and maybe consider a leadership opportunity for themselves.
AWiA encourages student of all ages to apply for these scholarships.
There are seven (7) student scholarships available to enable young women studying an undergraduate qualification in an agriculture or related course to attend the Conference. Each scholarship covers the cost of 1 full student conference registration and a complimentary student membership to AWiA.
Selected applicants are responsible for organising their own accommodation and travel arrangements.
Successful applicants are expected to submit a brief summary of their Conference experience with photo(s) and publish at least one post about the conference on social media.
