TropAg2017 is the world’s leading international tropical agriculture conference, which is now approaching its second rotation. The inaugural TropAg conference, held in Brisbane, Australia, in 2015, attracted over 500 delegates from more than 15 countries, and featured more than a dozen international speakers (view the program, abstract book and conference photos).
TropAg2017 will again be in held in sunny Queensland, famed for the beautiful beaches and spectacular scenery located within a short drive from Brisbane. It will again be hosted by the Queensland Alliance for Agriculture and Food Innovation (QAAFI) at the University of Queensland (UQ). UQ is ranked at number 55 in the 2016 Academic Ranking of World Universities and is in the top ten in agricultural science.
TropAg2017’s conference theme is High impact science to nourish the world. The program has been developed by an international advisory committee representing over ten different countries, the members of which are all world leaders in their respective fields. The TropAg2017 program comprises a multitude of concurrent symposia, specialising in scientific advances in agriculture, animal, horticulture, crop and food research, and will again feature a number of world-leading keynote speakers, with many opportunities for sponsors.
